That's what I'm planning to do for some of my upcoming maps. The only reason I can think of you may want to do this is if you have a Non-steam version ie a Pirated version, which to me is a pretty good reason to keep some mods steam only. I'll be showing you guys How To Download Cities Skylines MODS Without Steam Workshop! Simtropolis. Even zooming right in leaves you a bit far from the action. Cities: Skylines has an impressive amount of street-level detail, but you miss so much of it when you’re up in the clouds.
